on july 10th 2004, miles cain's new album 'different destinations' was launched at a cosy little gig in york.  a full report follows soon, but a fantastic and entertaining evening was had by all with miles playing 2 sets, one acoustic featuring guest performances by helen turner and syd egan (on harmonica)

the second set featured miles and a full band, playing both songs from the new album and a selection of fun blues and rock covers just to get the party mood well and truly romping through the medieval pub!

the band featured miles on guitar and vocals / andy paxton on bass & vox / tony weeks on drums / simon watterson on sax and paul d on electric guitar & vox.  thanks to julian on sound for mixing in a challenging room!

and a darn fine time was had by all !!!
