the recent refit at tollbooth has taught us much about how not to market software and media - it seems that you can't load a piece of software these days without having to immediately rush to the company's website to download a licence key the length of a Hardy novel and download the latest version of the software which crucially allows you to change the colours of all the sliders to pink.

to counter this frustration, p-a-d has decided to launch an updated version of PfAC which will include a re-mastered version of the main album and a second CD which features a number of tracks that never quite made it to the final version.

"though some of the tracks were left off due to being unsure about how they would fit, many just didn't make the cut because they were either at too early a stage of development, or there simply just wasn't space.  PfAC was supposed to represent not only where i was then, but also where i'd come from, and so i didn't want to overload the album with too many up-to-date (for me) tracks"

titled 'postcards that never got sent', the new CD will be available in two ways - new listeners will be able to buy PfAC as a 2CD set for just £12 (only a little more than the current version); and really annoyed current owners will be able to 'upgrade' their copy of PfAC complete with new artwork and 2CD casing for just £5!  a bargain considering you are getting a new remastered copy of PfAC, new artwork, and a whole second CD!!

in case you wondered about the original release date of this, we were going to release this in 2005, but decided to delay it to concentrate on the new album strange tale.  it will now be released to coincide with the release of strange tale.

details available soon from tollboothshop     v1.1 will be available in july 2006
